if i didnt know how many classmates ther were i would put them in even rows of 7 with four people in each row then times it together to get 28 classmates which is how many classmates i have
Posted November 19, 2008, 8:04 amThe fastest way is probably to get all of the boys to stand up and count them, then count the girls, then yourself and add it up.
Posted November 19, 2008, 8:07 amI think skip counting is the best way to count the kids in your class fast. I would skip count by 2’s. If there is an odd number you just add one.
Posted November 19, 2008, 8:08 amI think the fastest way is to count how many people are at one table then just keep counting.
Posted November 19, 2008, 8:10 amthe fastest way would be to count how many people are at the desks then find out how many desks there are and multiply to find the product. Then you can also if there are rows you can count how many desks are down the row then side ways down the row and multiply that to get the product of how many people are in your class but if some people are absent subtract them from the rest. Or you can just count everybody.
Posted November 19, 2008, 8:16 amGood thoughts, everyone! Wes, are you saying that you want me to put the desks into rows? Just kidding!
Posted November 19, 2008, 12:52 pmCade, could you multiply using the number of people sitting at each, table or do you think counting is faster?
